Flood Cuts and Demolition
Flooding in Commercial Building
When there is flooding from heavy rains it can cause lots of problems for any facility. Flood water can bring in dirt and silt from the outside which ruins flooring and walls.
The process to cleanup black water from flooding is to remove the damaged materials. SERVPRO of Greene County used a flood cut about four feet high to rid the building of contaminated materials. When we were finished with the demolition we washed and disinfected the floors.
The next step is to prepare the area for rebuilding by placing fans and dehumidifiers to dry all the left over building materials.
